( THE BRIEF )

Reach, without connectivity

A powerful feature is useless if no one understands it. The USSD launch had to lead with education — creating awareness and removing every reason not to try it.

Not every customer has data to spare — and a service that only works online quietly leaves people behind. The USSD launch was about closing that gap: making Gamma Mobility's key services available to anyone, on any phone, with or without an internet connection.

The challenge

A powerful new feature is only as good as the number of people who understand and use it. Launching Gamma's USSD service meant leading with education, not hype — creating awareness, teaching riders and customers exactly how it worked, and removing every reason not to try it.

What I led

  1. 01Owned the marketing communications and go-to-market plan for the launch across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  2. 02Led the product marketing and content strategy — translating a technical feature into a simple, obvious benefit: access without connectivity.
  3. 03Wrote the copy and briefed the creative for launch graphics, explainer creatives, educational content and motion graphics.
  4. 04Ran the social execution, sequencing announcement, education and adoption so the message built instead of blurring.

The outcome

The campaign made a genuinely useful feature genuinely understood — driving awareness of the USSD service and giving riders and customers a frictionless, offline path to the services they rely on, whenever and wherever they need them.
